Woven Silver Flask 1983 An unusual metal globe weatherSpectacular large woven silver flask with glass liner. Silver in a fine basket weave covers the body of the flask and it is topped with a spiral fluted stopper that is cork lined on a hinged bayonet closer. Marked Sterling on the neck and bottom of the flask and the base stamped with trade mark of Americas preeminent silver maker, The Gorham Silver Company who used this mark for its Sterling silver items. Also has Gorham date mark for 1900.
