Fattoria Coroncino, founded in 1981 by Lucio Canestrari in the heart of the Castelli di Jesi Classico zone, helped redefine what this grape could do and Gaiospino is the estate's flagship. The fruit comes from the Spescia vineyard, planted on calcareous marl at 400 meters with a south west exposure, picked at full maturity from low yielding vines. A portion ferments in 500 liter oak barrels; the rest in stainless.
