The original mirror plate has foxing in places but is usable. The decorative top panel is painted with a blue grey marble effect and is adorned with a plaster cherub face in the centre, two animal figures possibly lions and two rosettes on either side. The rest of the frame is painted in a stronger, turquoise blue. With a panelled back
