Now, at first glance, this may not look like these cards have much to do with one another, or point toward an overall approach to gameplay

Try to use your characters to block your opponents high-lore characters from staying out in the early game even if you need to trade (lose yours to take out theirs)

This creates an interesting interaction and mini subgame of sorts

I find that the best thing to do is just show oneso let's cut right to the chase

In hindsight, the block-less approach worked right away with the Dominaria set, but that's not the only reason fans like this expansion set
