With only one lore value and +1 resist, there are just too many other, better cards people will choose over it

The evidence are the cool mechanics like repartee, opus, and flashback, along with revamps of much-loved spells

Supported by a streamlined mana base with Rockface Village and Soulstone Sanctuary, the deck maintains relentless pressure

This is fine if you really need it, and it might be a great sideboard option for decks that dont normally use 7-drops to help fight against slower decks, but the other 7-drops in the set are a lot stronger for ramp
