Small oval shaped locket with an applied silver floral design to the front with engraved highlights. There is room inside for two tiny photographs, one of the original black and white portrait photographs enclosed within. It has a smooth finished reverse, fully hallmarked for Chester assay office, 1898, makers mark present but worn. It comes on a fine antique silver trace chain with a barrel
