The power level of the format had been consistent for years, and I found some success with a few rogue archetypes: In recent times weve had to deal with the stress of multiple bannings of parasitic and overpowered cards, but with Throne of Eldraine and friends leaving the format for good, Standard might actually be in a pretty healthy and diverse place once again
He is wearing a cap in this picture, and it is definitely a bit too big for him
Looking at Hiram Flaversham Toymaker and the Pawpsicle/Fortisphere combination, it allows that same card draw advantage in a color not designed for the mechanic, The real problem here though, is that your opponent usually has no answer to the 6 Willpower Hiram this early in the game, or no way to remove items that early before the Hiram combo is pulled off and your opponent has a three card advantage against you by turn four
Genesis Hydra While the thought of getting two powerful Creatures for the price of one is appealing, casting this card can too often devolve into a lottery of hoping to hit a good permanent and coming up short
Heres looking forward to finding out
