Red Tobacco Barn Restaurant It's a catch & releaseIf you grew up in New England schools, you probably worked on a tobacco farm during your summer break. The Pioneer Valley was a big shade tobacco producer and created tobacco for cigars for as far away as Cuba. The leaves are grown and harvested in fields under cheesecloth netting, sewn onto wooden slats and hung to dry in these gorgeous tobacco barns.
